We are excited to announce the coming together of two leading law firms in New Plymouth, Legal Solutions and Carrington Ussher. This merger brings together a team of 17 Lawyers and Registered Legal Executives with a wealth of experience and expertise in various legal areas.
The team at Legal Solutions has always enjoyed a good professional relationship with Chris and Paul, with a natural synergy between both firms who are committed to putting people first, explaining the law in plain English and being upfront about fees.
Legal Solutions, led by Karen Venables is a general practice law firm, which specialises in property, employment, family, commercial and disputes resolution. Carrington Ussher has a strong focus on property, subdivisions, commercial and employment. Paul Carrington, is a well-respected lawyer in the local community with enormous experience in property development and conveyancing. Chris Ussher, another prominent lawyer in the area, also brings a wealth of experience in complicated commercial matters, employment, property, and trusts.
The amalgamation of these two firms will provide our clients with access to a wider range of legal services and a team of experienced lawyers who are dedicated to providing expert legal advice and representation. It will also bring together the modern infrastructure of Legal Solutions with the experience and local knowledge of Carrington Ussher. The new firm will continue to provide the same level of high-quality legal services that clients have come to expect from both Legal Solutions and Carrington Ussher.

The merger will come into effect on the 1st of April and the new firm will be operating under the name of Legal Solutions + Carrington Ussher.
