Hayden is a personable, intelligent and diligent lawyer who works with clients constructively and efficiently for excellent results. He brings to Legal Solutions a wealth of cross-sector experience in corporate, commercial and contracts law, gained over 16 years as a qualified lawyer in New Zealand and internationally.
Hayden is a Qualified Chartered Corporate Governance Professional with a sound understanding of business and the need for workable commercial solutions, developed through his time working as in-house legal counsel for large firms and in managing director roles.
In addition to his extensive legal background, Hayden has experience in assisting technology start-ups come to market and in raising capital. Combining his community spirit and skillset for the greater good, Hayden has been involved with entrepreneur/‘startup’ events here in New Plymouth to stimulate local innovation and growth.
Outside work Hayden enjoys running, live music, biking, spending time with friends and family, and football (although recent injury has spelled the end of competitive playing and the beginning of coaching his daughter’s team). He is a proud dad (and husband to Mikaela) with a family of four girls (4th generation Taranakians).
